Thanks to a generous private donation, the Department of Cinema and Media Studies has opened a new computer and media lab aimed at supporting undergraduate and graduate students in their creative projects and endeavors, as well as providing instructional support for faculty. Located in Padelford B531, the space holds six design-quality 32” monitors that can be docked to laptops. The lab also has a Mac Studio and two Mac minis loaded with Adobe Creative Cloud, Da Vinci Pro, Audacity, and other software. Microphones for recording audio tracks are also available.

The lab is staffed by a new staff hire, Leah Gunter. Normal lab hours are Monday through Thursday, 10:00 AM until 3:00 PM. Students needing access at other times should contact Leah Gunter or the department Chair.
