In this quarterly series, acclaimed moviemakers join Warren Etheredge in candid conversation about the craft (and commerce) of their profession.  In three truthful talks, you'll come to know a favorite of the festival circuit, and indie stalwart, and a box office champ - how they made their marks, how they navigate their process, and how they advise you to pursue your own cinematic ambitions. 

Kirsten “Kiwi” Smith is a screenwriter whose credits include Ella EnchantedThe House BunnyThe Ugly Truth (shot in Seattle!), 10 Things I Hate About You, and the Legally Blonde movies, all of which she penned with her writing partner, Karen McCullough. Most recently, she adapted her own book, Trinkets, as a Netflix series starring Brianna Hildebrand, Kiana Madeira, and Quintessa Swindell. She has directed short films and is still recovering from her beginnings as an aspiring poet. Kiwi attended NYU and Occidental College.

Warren Etheredge has conducted over 3,500 interviews. He teaches screenwriting and filmmaking at the University of Washington and Cornish College for the Arts. He is also the Artistic Director and Co-founder of the Walla Walla Movie Crush (themoviecrush.com).
