Nidesh Lawtoo (Ph.D. 2009) receives a 5-year European Research Council Starting Grant to work on his research project Homo Mimeticus at the Center for Global Studies, University of Bern, Switzerland. From 2013 to 2016, Nidesh was the recipient of an SNF Fellowship at the Humanities Center of Johns Hopkins University.
Also his new book, Conrad's Shadow: Catastrophe, Mimesis, Theory is out!
