Movie screening of the film, “Crisscross” by Mary Gates Venture Scholar Allison Ross (B.A. 2014)

Tuesday, June 10, 2014 - 2:30pm
Mary Gates Hall Room 171-E

The film is set in Seattle and is an adaptation of “Hamlet” by Shakespeare. There will be two movies, each running approximately 20 minutes.  The first, will be a narrative and the second a "commentary" in which Allison will reorganize the clips in such a way as to exemplify the three themes that she is conveying through the proof of concept film: adaptation, open-ended narrative and ethical ambiguity. There will be a Q&A with Allison immediately following the films. Popcorn and other refreshments will be provided by the Mary Gates Endowment and Undergraduate Research Program.
