If you would like to be considered for any available Teaching Assistantship (TAship) or Fellowship in the Department of Comparative Literature, Cinema & Media, you must upload a copy of the form linked at the bottom of this page with your online application.
Most of our available funding is through Teaching Assistantships. TAships will come with a stipend, health insurance coverage through the Graduate Appointee Insurance Plan, and a tuition waiver. The waiver covers the quarterly operating fee, building fee and techonology fee. TAs will be responsible for paying additional fees not covered by the waiver.
National language and literature departments at the University of Washington may have opportunities for TAships teaching language classes. Application process and deadlines will vary by department. Please inquire directly with the department/language program you are interested in If you have a native level speaking proficiency in a foreign language.
