Lin Chen

My dissertation, titled "Tao Yuanming and William Wordsworth: A Parallel Study," attempts to bridge the gulf separating classical Chinese poetry and the English Romantic tradition. It is a helical structure built around the master poems of two colossal men from two of the world's greatest poetic traditions, a double-plot drama that aims to shock our culture-bound, segregating mindset into consciousness of the uses of a transcultural literary dialogue.
