On December 3rd, New York, NY, the Modern Language Association of America announced it is awarding its sixteenth Aldo and Jeanne Scaglione Prize for a Translation of a Scholarly Study of Literature to Jane K. Brown, Joff Hanauer Distinguished Professor of Western Civilization Emerita at the University of Washington, Seattle, and to Marshall Brown, professor emeritus of Comparative Literature and German studies at the University of Washington, Seattle, for their translation of Harald Weinrich's Tempus: The Would of Discussion and the World of Narration, published by Fordham University Press.
