Cinema and Media Studies is pleased to co-sponsor a discussion with Bao Tran, the director of the acclaimed The Paper Tigers (2020), a martial arts comedy shot in Seattle and Shoreline, and the film’s producer Al'n Duong. Tran and Duong will be joined by the UW scholars Chris Hamm (AL&L) and Yomi Braester (CMS) for a discussion of the film. The event will be streamed live (accessible to UW ID holders).
The event is sponsored by the Simpson Center for the Humanities, Asian Languages and Literature, and Cinema and Media Studies.
