The 18th Annual Seattle Black Film Festival kicked off on Friday, April 16th. The ten day festival will be presented virtually this year, with fully online and on-demand screenings. Daily timed events during the weekend of April 23-25 will feature entertainment and conversations will filmmakers. Over 70 official selection of films explore the following themes: A Diaspora in Displacement, Decolonizing the Narrative in Our #OwnVoices, The Future of Our Identity (youth-focused films), and Black Love, Self Love.
