Now in it its 9th year, the Seattle Asian American Film Festival (SAAFF) is online this year. Partnering with NorthWest Film Forum, SAAFF showcases feature-length and short films by and about Asian Americans across North America, with an emphasis on filmmakers from the Pacific Northwest. We have several connections to the SAAFF this year. Professor LeiLani Nishime (Adjunct Professor CMS) is one of the organizers, and a short film by CMS graduate student Sarah Choi titled "Bird, Man, Water" is featured in the “Lingering” collection this year!
