Current Ph.D. student Xin Peng's short piece on early Chinese actress/writer Yan Shanshan for the Women Film Pioneer Project (WFPP) at Columbia University has been published. WFPP is a digital publication and resource that explores women's involvement of film production during the silent film era. The essay is now available on the Women Film Pioneer Project website.
