Supritha Rajan (M.A. 2001) awarded the 23rd Annual Modern Language Association Prize for a First Book

Supritha Rajan (M.A. 2001), currently an Associate Professor of English at the University of Rochester was awarded the 23rd Annual Modern Language Association Prize for a First Book for her publication A Tale of Two Capitalisms: Sacred Economics in Nineteenth-Century Britain (Univ. of Michigan Press, 2015.) The prize is awarded for an outstanding scholarly work published during the previous year as the first book-length publication by a current member of the Modern Language Association.
