Amal Eqeiq (Ph.D. student) delivered a delivered a keynote lecture on hip-hop in the Arab world (lecture titled "Hip Hop Beasts Politics: New Poetics of Resistance in the Arab World") at the Univeristy of Kentucky on April 19, 2013. The lecture was part of the Arabic and Islamic Studies Program in the Kentucky Foreign Language Conference (KFLC): The Languages, Literatures and Cultures Conference (April 18-20, 2013, Univeristy of Kentucky, Lexington, KY).
